Chi-town

Wow, what a great weekend!!! Meghan, Jason, Tom, and I headed to Chicago for a weekend of partying, shopping, and a little relaxing. Friday night we met up with my brother and Eric Hansen and we hit the town. We partied really hard and My brother and I even made it on stage at one bar to help out with a Dave Song!!! Needless to say Saturday morning was a little rough. The guys watched football all day in Lincoln Park and Meghan and I shopped until we dropped (that is into Macy's salon for pedicures and mini massages). Chicago had it's big light festival on Saturday night and after that we ate at the Cheese Cake Factory and headed back to the room.
What a great weekend and Happy Anniversary Meghan and Jason!!!

6 Years and counting!!!

Tom and I just celebrated our 6 year wedding anniversary last weekend! We were able to sneak away with the VandenHout's to the Michigan State game on saturday, hit up PF Chang's in Lansing (which was Meghan and I's motivation to sit in the cold during the game), then come home relax a bit and then go to the movies. Needless to say we had a great weekend!
We've come a long way and I look forward to many more years of happiness, I love you babe!!!

I know we all say it all the time but, Time Flies!!! Ruby is now four and very excited about being a big girl! Everything is "because I'm four now mom!" In this picture she a sporting the birthday hat that the kids at school made for her, she's worn it everyday this week!
We love you Rubz and are so excited to watch you grow into a beautiful young lady.

Ruby's 4th Birthday

Thanks to all who joined us in celebrating Ruby's 4th Birthday, she had so much fun and was glad to spend time with all her friends!

Happy Halloween

What a great night for Trick or Treating! The kids had such a great time and kept up with the crowd. Tommy was Bob the Builder; however, everyone was calling him Joe the Plumber and Ruby was a witch which was a last minute decision from her original Barbie costume. It's so awesome to see how excited the kids get about life's little things, it makes being a parent so special.
